The Antique and Classic Boat Society is a resource for restoring classic boats. The ACBS Pacific Northwest Chapter has a question/answer forum.
The Grapeview Point Boat Works has stretched the original plans for the 12-foot Ace resulting in a runabout which is essentially the same as the Sande version.
Fiberglassics
is a nationally known resource for the restoration of old fiberglass boats. It has forums on wood and aluminum boats in addition to classic fiberglass boats. They have recently remodeled their site so be sure to check the forum archives.
The
Northwest Classic Boat Club - founded in 2008 by boaters in the Pacific Northwest - has forums on several classic boat topics.
John's Old Mercury Web Site is a great resource with a
question/answer forum and charts to identify old Mercury outboards from serial numbers.
The Mercury Outpost is another question/answer forum for old Mercury outboards.
The iBoats website has a wide range of forums including one for Mercury motors which covers the entire range of years from the old ones to current models.
Grubb's Marine (now East Coast Marine Service) is a source for old
Mercury outboard parts.  It also has a superb model identification guide with pictures.
The Antique Outboard Motor Club (AOMCI)
is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of antique outboards. They post classified ads for buying and selling old outboard motors and parts.
The Lady Clipper plywood runabout was built in Tacoma, Washington by the Sigler brothers in the 1950s. With its double cockpit, it has been confused with the Sande Ace. A page on the
Lady Clipper is included in this site. This also contains pictures of the Mansfield boat.
